Childhood cancer is the leading cause of non-accidental death in children in the United States. In fact, more than 12,000 children will be diagnosed with cancer this year.

Fortunately, more than 70% of children diagnosed with cancer will now survive, which is a striking improvement over the 5% survival rate less than 50 years ago; however, for the parents of these children, as well as the physicians and others who care for them, these odds are not good enough.

The Curing Children’s Cancer Fund (CCCF) was founded by people who are committed to helping physician-researchers discover a cure for all children with cancer.
