Kick Cancer Soccer Camp

    2014-2015 Kick Cancer Camps rose close to $20,000 for pediatric cancer research!

    Soccer Clubs across Houston and the state of Texas came together for a single cause December 13& 20, 2014 and January 17, 2015 hosting camps for children ages 5-18 all to help raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. Over 350 campers participated raising nearly $20,000.

    Founded by Glenn Davis, ESPN commentator and ex professional soccer player, the Kick Cancer Camp is a camp with a purpose, and its mission is to bring together soccer and school communities to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. In 2014, 10,500 children across the United States were diagnosed with cancer.

    Top area players and coaches, donated their time to teach and coach youth while also supporting the fight against childhood cancer.  All camp proceeds support the Curing Children’s Cancer Fund.  The Curing Children’s Cancer Fund mission is to find a cure for childhood cancer by providing support for the country’s leading pediatric cancer researchers.

    Participating clubs included the Albion Hurricanes, Texas Rush, San Antonio Scorpions, Houston Aces, The Eclipse Soccer Club, The Alliance FC, Cy-Fair Dynamos , Space City Futbol, and Houston Express.

    “KICK CANCER SOCCER CAMP is a camp with a purpose and its mission is to bring together soccer communities to raise awareness and funds for cancer research”, said camp founder Glenn Davis. “What makes this camp so unique is that it engages all levels of soccer (youth, high school, college, professional, ex-professionals)come together to provide their time and expertise,” he said.

    ALL proceeds from the camps go to Curing Children’s Cancer Fund, For a minimal fee campers gets one on one training advice from professional, collegiate and club coaches allowing them to play alongside of some of the best players in the country.
    Camp fees $55.00 for ages 5-15.
