Our Mission – Turning the Lights Out on Childhood Cancer

    The mission of the Curing Children’s Cancer Fund is to find a cure for childhood cancer by providing financial support for some of the country’s leading pediatric cancer researchers, including those at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. The results of the cutting-edge research are shared with physicians around the world and benefit the children under their care.

    September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

    September is national childhood cancer awareness month. Every year, 10,000 children are diagnosed with cancer, the leading cause of disease-related death for children. Dr. Ricardo Flores of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center, the largest cancer center for children in the U.S., will tell us more about the disease and advancements in treatment.
